Supabase: Hero

Why we chose this SaaS landing page example
SaaS marketing is slightly different when building a developer-focused product. You are likely to tone down some of the high-level benefits in your SaaS copywriting, and instead, your product features gain much more ground.
Supabase shows you a fantastic developer-focused hero section example.
The main title, ‘Build in a weekend, Scale to millions’, conveys the benefit and immediately addresses the main concern – can a quick-to-setup solution handle volumes?
The description starts with ‘Supabase is an open source Firebase alternative’. This is a great and subtle way of telling the website visitor that if they don’t know what Firebase is, it’s probably time to exit.
But if you do know what Firebase is, then the rest of the description with concrete features most likely resonates.
Finally, two call-to-action buttons are very typical for developer-focused tools. Page visitors might want to see an interactive demo with dummy data, explore documentation, or speak with someone. Supabase has most likely added the ‘Request a Demo’ button to attract enterprise customers.
What’s Supabase?
Supabase is designed for developers and startups who currently rely on Firebase or AWS but struggle with proprietary systems, limited flexibility, and high costs. Supabase provides an open-source backend-as-a-service solution, offering Postgres databases, authentication, instant APIs, real-time subscriptions, and edge functions. Key features include built-in Postgres, row-level security, real-time updates, file storage, and vector embeddings. This enables developers to launch scalable applications quickly while maintaining full control over their tech stack.
