Why we chose this SaaS landing page example

Beehiiv’s taking a calculated risk here by agitating the pain in the final CTA section at the bottom of the landing page. And it’s not only agitating but also blaming the user for not doing email marketing in the right way.

It’s a brave choice and not for everyone.

But when you put the sentence in the context of marketers on LinkedIn repeating that email marketing is dead – then it all makes sense.

The risk with this approach is that if the page visitor doesn’t have experience in email marketing, they might find the agitation off-putting. Then again, Beehiiv might be looking for those who already do email marketing – and those visitors most likely find the messaging just right.
