Why we chose this SaaS landing page example

When building a landing page, social proof is a must.

When I was running my previous startup, customers often asked if we, a European company, also serve U.S.-based businesses.

Those questions stopped when our landing pages got a new logo.

Metallica.

Conversions from the U.S. skyrocketed.

Your SaaS doesn’t need Metallica.

But your landing pages definitely need social proof to maximise conversions.

The testimonials section of Default is a great example. Straight after the hero element, you can find customer logos and three testimonials.

A couple of things make these testimonials great:

  • A summarising title to make it easier for customers to see what they are all about quickly. Also, titles are a great way to add real-life outcomes, which might feel vague without the context.

  • Quotes are short, feel authentic, and discuss transformation from old to new.

  • Customers’ images increase trust. I’d consider linking names to the LinkedIn profiles as well.
