# Can I create a custom design in LandingRabbit?

Yes, you can.

You can create a fully custom design for any section in LandingRabbit. The best thing is that **you can keep the custom design content fully editable via LandingRabbit's text editor**.

## Create custom designs in LandingRabbit's editor

In LandingRabbit, click to **Edit styles** in any of the sections and ask LandingRabbit to plan a new layout for you.

For example, you can ask LandingRabbit to split the hero section texts:

After creating your custom design, you can edit it in the LandingRabbit chat and text editor just like you'd edit any other layout.

## Create custom designs in ChatGPT and Claude

Here are three easy steps on how to create custom designs in ChatGPT and Claude

### Step 1: Connect the LandingRabbit MCP in Claude or download the ChatGPT plugin

To get started, get the [ChatGPT plugin](https://landingrabbit.com/landingrabbit-chatgpt-app) or connect LandingRabbit's MCP in [Claude](https://landingrabbit.com/landingrabbit-claude-app), or [Claude Code](https://landingrabbit.com/documentation/install-landingrabbit-for-claude-code-cli). Then ask it to use LandingRabbit and the custom design tool.

### Step 2: Create or prepare your page

If you don't have a page to work with yet, ask Claude or ChatGPT to create one for you and add the sections you want to design.

Once the page is ready, ask Claude or ChatGPT to pull in the section you want to customize, for example, the [hero section](https://landingrabbit.com/documentation/edit-the-look-and-feel-of-the-hero-section) layout.

### Step 3: Submit your custom design

Ask the AI app use the **custom\_design** tool available via MCP.

Then, work with Claude or ChatGPT to describe the layout you want and submit your custom design.

For example, you might ask for a "bento" style section with cards, which currently isn't one of the standard LandingRabbit templates.

You can be as specific as you like.

The custom design will be created as a new layout, so there's no risk of losing your current page layout.

When you are happy with the results, publish the page and you can use the custom design template across other pages.
